Volleyball-minded Physical Therapist, Gwen Alden, and her staff lead weekly results-focused fitness classes to elevate your game. Select your program below.

Sports Performance

This program covers weight lifting and agility drills to improve all-around athleticism and fitness. Focuses on strength, power, jump ability, and balance.

Sessions twice/week working around your schedule. Classes will begin in January. Sign up by December 15th and 2 people will win Sports Performance classes for 1/2 price. Plus, first 10 to sign up will get a FREE t-shirt.

$620 for 46 sessions or $120/month for 6 months.

Jump
Training

This eight-week small-group program will improve your child’s jumping ability. Athletes who participated in our last Jump Training Program added up to four inches to their vertical!

Athletes train twice per week in 45-minute classes with sessions. After pre-registering, we will contact you to create a schedule that fits YOUR calendar.  Space is limited to the first six registrants.

Eight week pass is $249.

Adult Workouts

Parents and siblings join in on the fun and fitness! All levels welcome in this class covering HIIT, strength training, conditioning, and education on the tools to stay in shape and healthy.

Classes will begin ASAP with 5 people minimum.

Gwen Alden

Gwen’s players would describe her as soft-spoken yet intense and motivating.  Specializing in the younger age groups, Gwen’s teams have all undergone vast transformations.  She has high expectations from her kids and they thrive in her team environment.

Gwen recently moved here from Atsugi, Japan. There, she coached girls teams in the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation volleyball leagues.

Gwen was born and raised in Lawrence, Kansas where she was on a nationally ranked team her senior year in high school. She accepted a volleyball scholarship to the University of Missouri and played for the Tigers from 1991-1994. During her tenure, Gwen won several student-athlete awards, including NSCA All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year, Phillips 66 All-Big Eight Team Awards and All-Big Eight Conference Team.

Since college, Gwen has worked in her career field as a physical therapist, raised three girls and traveled around the world with her husband and his career.

Becky Andelin

Fitness Instructor

Coach Becky has a background in playing water polo and swimming competitively, as well as competing in running races of various distances, triathlons, and competitive CrossFit and Olympic Lifting. She is a personal trainer, yoga instructor, sports performance coach, and a coach of club water polo. She believes that the foundation to being a good coach is to always be an athlete. Coach Becky aims to instill the practices of lifelong athletics into all her clients. She believes that athletics is a way to learn a lifestyle of health, fitness, and quality of movement. She works with kids, teens, as well as adults.  
 
Coach Becky is a CrossFit L-1 coach, 200 hr Certified Yoga Instructor, and USA Weightlifting certified Strength and Conditioning coach. Along with coaching the sports performance classes at SoCal Athletics, she also teaches yoga, group fitness classes, and personal training clients. She works online and locally. Her main goals are to educate, instruct, and guide others to better overall health and fitness. 
 
Outside of coaching and athletics, Becky is the youngest of four siblings and loves being an aunt to her fourteen nieces and nephews. She is a southern California native who enjoys reading, yoga, surfing, and watching movies.
