Your team’s season is coming to a close and you’re not quite sure what is happening next at the gym? Not to worry, you’ve got a whole summer’s worth of training right at your fingertips!
Next on your plate is Summer Maintenance Training, which is included in your tuition. Summer maintenance begins in June, for those teams that are all finished up, whether you are part of the local or travel programs. Each session will begin with a fun dynamic warm-up, then our awesome staff will split kids up into teams and play competitive, fast paced games for the rest of the session! Our goal is for players to be challenged, get better and get to do what they love most – PLAY VOLLEYBALL!
Local teams will practice through the month of May, and begin maintenance training the first week of June. Regional players will begin maintenance training as soon as their season finishes their final SCVA tournament in June. National players will begin maintenance in July, after returning from the Volleyball Festival and Junior National Championships.
June Schedule: Monday 4-5:30pm (local) and 5:30-7pm (travel) & Wednesday 4-5:30 (local) and 5:30-7pm (travel)
July Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4-5:30pm (local) and 5-7:00pm (travel)
August Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4-5:30pm (local) and 5:30-7pm (travel) – through August 10th.
Players are welcome to come to ALL sessions within their program – that’s 4 times per week in the month of July!
Other summer offerings include camps, clinics, and then the upcoming fall ball season’s tryouts.
- Beginner/Advanced Camp: Monday-Thursday 10:00-11:30am starting June 5th-August 24th. Want to be set for the whole summer? Get the Summer Camp Pass, 50% off through May 31st.
- Speed, Strength, and Stability Clinic (Beginner/Intermediate): Monday-Thursday 9:00-10:00am starting July 10th-27th with our in-house physical therapist, Gwen Alden. This camp lines up right before Beginner/Advanced Volleyball Camp.
- Advanced Camps:
- Explosion Camp (Advanced): Three day camps from 4:00-5:00pm July 11th-27th | Get off the court a bit and work on areas of weakness to maximize your potential at tryouts, also with Gwen Alden.
- Sand Camps: Beginner/Intermediate and Advanced Camps in June and July!
Fall Ball Evaluations: Time to mark your calendar for our fun, competitive 10 week Fall program for ages 8-18! 7th & 8th grade evaluations begin August 12th 10:00-11:30am and 6th grade & High School August 12th 12:00-1:30pm. Program runs through October 28th.
