Coaching director, Aimee Asebroek announced the addition of another highly qualified coach to the SoCal staff in CSUSM women’s volleyball coach, Todd Raasch.  Said Asebroek, “Todd has incredible experience at both the club and collegiate level and he will add so much to our staff.  He is a very soft spoken but direct coach and his attention to technical details will help our younger and older players.  I am excited to work with Todd and learn from him as well.”

Todd Raasch was named Women’s Assistant Volleyball Coach during the summer of 2014.

Raasch comes to California after a stint as head coach of the men’s volleyball program at Johnson & Wales University’s Denver campus.

Raasch, a native of Wisner, Neb. competed at Graceland University on their then-club team, captaining the squad to runner-up finishes at the Collegiate Club Nationals. He began his coaching career as an assistant at Graceland before taking an assistant position with the University of Nebraska-Kearney Antelopes’ women’s team. Raasch was a part of the coaching staff of the 1995 National Championship team at NCAA Division I powerhouse University of Nebraska.

Following his time at Nebraska, Raasch spent five seasons with NCAA Division II school, Metro State College of Denver.

Raasch served as the head coach of the women’s team at Kenyon College in Grambling, Ohio as well as a member of the coaching staff at Florida Atlantic University, Boston College and DePaul University.
