Will Coach SoCal’s 12-1 Team This Season

Beth enjoyed playing volleyball for 11 years and has now coached for the last 16 years. In addition to coaching, she has been a home educator for over eight years.

In September 2011, she and her family moved back to CA and she enjoyed coaching at Crosspoint VBC in Murrieta for a 16’s team, and at Tri-City Christian for the JV and Varsity teams last fall 2012. Before that she enjoyed playing, and training youth on the beach in South Florida after serving as head coach (2008-2009) at NCAA Div II Palm Beach Atlantic University after assisting in 2007. Beth played volleyball at Ukiah High and NorCal Volleyball Club before beginning her college career at UC Santa Barbara (1997-98) when the Gauchos earned a NCAA Div I elite-8 finish. She graduated from The Master’s College in Santa Clarita, CA, with her B.A. in Communications, leading the team to their first-ever top-25 NAIA ranking in 1998, and captaining the squad in 1999 and 2000. She was hired back as head coach at TMC in 2003 after assisting at Mendocino College in 2001. She has also coached club successfully at Santa Barbara Volleyball Club, Point West Mizuno, and Crosspoint Volleyball Club, and has experience coaching clinics and camps both here in the States and abroad in Costa Rica. She ran the Pepsi Bash at the Beach Invitational in West Palm Beach, FL from 2005-2009.

She has been trained at Gold Medal Squared by Team USA coaches, and is excited to share her love of the game with youth.
